Favorite Little Pins No. 2

If you've followed along with me previously, then you know that I've decided to bring back a segment from one of my old blogs called Favorite Little Pins whereby I share some of my favorite Pinterest images and ideas. Pinterest is hands down my favorite social media platform (even if it's the least "social"), and is a really great source of inspiration whether it be recipes, interior design, party ideas. Ideas can be gathered for literally anything, and I love to create small snapshots of the things that are currently inspiring my mood as well as give you a sense of my style and personality. You can actually tell a lot about a person's tastes and interests (their personal "brand," essentially) by looking at their Pinterest boards and other social media channels.

1. Euclid Modern Project May we please talk about this door? I completely adore it, and I discovered this modern Euclid home by interior designer Amy Berry on Pinterest a few days ago. The  light wood and the chevron panels add such a unique touch to the home, I can't stop scrolling through my Pins and staring at it.

2. Chicken Taco Soup Recipes I am a huge fan of My Domaine (I'm still elated that I got a chance to be a part of their travel-inspired group board on Pinterest a couple months back), and when I saw this link for chicken taco soup recipes on Pinterest I knew it was going to be a pin now, come back to it later type of deal. All of these recipes look simply delicious, and I particularly can't wait to try out this salsa verde chicken and rice tortilla soup.

3. Nordstrom Anniversary Sale It's impossible to comb through Pinterest without running into evidence of the #NSale that's in full swing right now. Left and right users are furiously pinning wish list items while bloggers round up their top picks from the sale. I thought about putting together a list myself because product roundups are my FAVORITE but given the crazy digital tidal wave of #NSale posts flooding the Internet right now I've decided to spare you. Instead I leave you to look on in envy at others' Nordstrom hauls.

4. Cafe Birdie I am always looking out for the latest Wear This There segment from sfgirlbybay. There are so many beautiful restaurants out there, and I'm secretly compiling a list so that I can visit them all. A gorgeous space really elevates both the food presentation and the experience, and Cafe Birdie is high on my list of must-visit restaurants along with Bar Melusine in my very own neighborhood of Seattle.

5. Seattle VIS I have to give a shoutout to Nikki Davis who just launched her very own online boutique this month, Seattle VIS. Not only are the clothes adorable and stylish, but they're affordable too! Many of these pieces cost just a fraction of what many other retailers would charge, and I am so incredibly excited to see where the shop goes in the future (Yay #GIRLBOSS)! Be sure to check out the online shop and nab your favorites while they're still in stock (like this white Sophie top with pretty, feminine bell sleeves).

6. Bali Mini Guide Wanderlust tends to hit me pretty hard in the summertime, and this pool in Bali looks just like the kind of place I'd like to be. The Style Me Pretty blog had put together a beautiful miniature guide/photo diary of Bali, and the photos pretty much have me convinced that I should drop everything I'm doing and jump on a plane right now. It's actually a bit of a fantasy of mine to epically quit my Starbucks job one day, throw in my green apron (throwing the apron is key), storm out of the store, and jump onto the light rail to the airport to just hop on a plane to some unknown, far away destination and live Eat, Pray, Love style. A girl can dream!
